Must ask about . . .ahmmm . . . restrooms on the Tough Mudder course

Because I almost pee'd  my pants when I leaned back to take this picture during my run/walk yesterday.

Not ready for Depends yet and I can't imagine they'd look all that great when worn with skin-tight compression pants.  In fact, ew.

Quoth Beth:  Yeah -- let's not do THAT.

  1. Restrooms: HUGE red flag. When a girl's gotta go, a girl's gotta go. Eew. Nasty thought. What's in that mud? Do "they" actually make pills that turn water/mud red if someone pees in there? Do we really want to know? Um, yesno. New word. I can dothat. See, I justdid.

Need to work out tomorrow - new bike is 7 - 10 days from now. Apparently it's a very special bike, and way too tall for me. I want real pedals, not the ones that you click those ugly cycling shoes into. I will fall, you know. I don't look good when I cry.

I may need blog persmission. This looks like fun. I, Mimi Schector, promise to post non-rambling blogs by staying away from the keyboard after a long day (or any day for that matter). Pretty please, egg mate?

  2. I will give you blog permission. And the entire purpose of the blog is to ramble about how all of this fitness stuff and insane commitment makes us feel -- so ramble away.
For me it is a place to also explore some of the emotional things this challenge is doing to me. We didn't take on a little thing and I don't know about you, but there are days when I am SO PUMPED, and days when I think "I must be outta my damn mind."

I want to intentionally chronicle all of that, when we go back and re-read, we can remember that we did something awe inspiring.

  3. This is making us explore the emotional aspect, isn't it? I was never told that I could do anything 'big', so I grew up thinking that I couldn't follow my dreams. This is a dream, and I will never forget that.
